“TRY-OUTS” FALL CONDITIONING & WEIGHT LIFTING Fall conditioning and weight lifting will begin September 10, 2007, at 5:30 p.m., on the M-A track. Wear running shoes, shorts and a t-shirt. All student-athletes who anticipating trying out for basketball and not participating in a Fall sport, should attend. A meeting (date TBA) will be announced and held prior to the first day of conditioning. TRY-OUTS Boy’s basketball try-outs begin Thursday November
1, 2007. PLEASE NOTE: Before trying out every student athlete trying out must be cleared through the main office, the clearance process includes having a physical yearly and completing the athletic packet which includes a 2.0 GPA. Cuts will be announced on a date to be determined. *If you ARE NOT participating in a Fall sport, this your opportunity to try-out for basketball. This will consist of a 3-5 day try-out period. Frosh and FS: Wear P.E. shorts, white t-shirt, basketball shoes Varsity: Wear any shorts, white t-shirt, basketball shoes In NEW GYM Thursday Nov. 1, 2007: FS: 6:30-8 p.m. (all returning FS and Freshman basketball players), Freshman: 6:30-8 p.m. (all incoming Freshmen unless otherwise notified otherwise by Coach White or Coach Bowler), Varsity: 4:30-6:30 p.m. (all returning varsity players, all other juniors and seniors interested in trying out for varsity.) Friday Nov. 2, 2007: FS, Freshman: 3-4:30 p.m., Varsity: 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 3, 2007: Varsity: 8-10:30 a.m. (Varsity cuts will be posted on the P.E. office window Monday morning, Nov. 3.)
