Welcome to the Menlo-Atherton Athletics Boosters website!

The Menlo-Atherton Athletic Boosters is a non-profit, volunteer organization which supports all athletic teams and student athletes at Menlo-Atherton High School. We raise money to bridge the large gap between funds that M-A's athletic program receives from the school district and what is necessary to run an excellent sports program. Our Athletic Boosters organization grants money to coaches for the purchase of uniforms and equipment as well as coaches' stipends. The three main ways M-A Athletic Boosters raises money is from:

Coach's Spotlight

Meet Coach Carlos Aguilar

Tennis: Varsity girls (Fall)
Tennis : Varsity boys (Spring)

Coach Aguilar may just win the “Coach With The Most M-A Grads” award. He’s dad to Peter, Matt and Emily, who are all grown up and out of the house now. But that doesn’t mean Coach Aguilar is done with M-A! He still enjoys his Bear time, as he coaches both the girls (fall) and boys (spring) varsity tennis teams.

Tennis is deeply ingrained in Coach Aguilar, and his all-time favorite sports moment was him aceing John McEnroe to win the 3rd set at Wimbledon in 1981! Nicely done, Coach! And although a majority of his time is focused on tennis – the last $10 he spent was for new racquet strings – Coach Aguilar does take time out to enjoy the finer things in life: The Blacklist (Mondays at 10pm on NBC), mocha chip ice cream, and of course, his wife Kim.

Be sure to stop by the tennis courts and say “hi” to Coach Aguilar.
