Welcome to the Menlo-Atherton Athletics Boosters website!

The Menlo-Atherton Athletic Boosters is a non-profit, volunteer organization which supports all athletic teams and student athletes at Menlo-Atherton High School. We raise money to bridge the large gap between funds that M-A's athletic program receives from the school district and what is necessary to run an excellent sports program. Our Athletic Boosters organization grants money to coaches for the purchase of uniforms and equipment as well as coaches' stipends. The three main ways M-A Athletic Boosters raises money is from:

Coach's Spotlight

Meet Coach Ramon Young

Girls Golf (Fall)
Badminton (Spring)

Coach Young is a highly focused coach who specializes in teaching M-A athletes to hit small things with large objects. Not only is he the girls golf coach, but he’s also the coach for the varsity badminton team! And while Coach Young is a versatile and dedicated coach (the last book he read was Positive Coaching), many do not realize that he’s a very versatile athlete himself! He was swim team captain of his high school team, and exceled in both badminton (natch!) and tennis, winning division titles in both sports. Way to go, Coach Young!

When he’s not thinking about sports, you might be able to find Coach Young vacationing on sunny beaches with blue seas and eating vanilla ice cream.  Sounds heavenly!

Be sure to catch Coach Young in action this spring on the badminton courts!
